Publisher Opt-Out & Removal Policy
Effective October 28, 2026
MLS Daily News links readers to original reporting. If you are a publisher, author or rights holder and you would prefer that we not link to or summarize your work, we will honor that — no questions asked, no legal notice required.
How to request removal
- Email Robert@OwnUtah.com from an address at your publication (or explain your connection to it).
- Tell us what to remove: specific story URLs on our site, or your whole domain.
What we do
- We aim to remove the requested items within one business day and confirm by email.
- For a domain-wide opt-out, we remove every existing summary and link for that domain and add the domain to a permanent blocklist so our systems never collect it again.
- You can also ask us to change a headline to a neutral rewrite or to remove our summary while keeping a plain link.
- To opt back in later, just email us.
What we publish about your work
Only the headline (or a neutral rewrite), your publication's name, the publication date, a short summary written in our own words, and a prominent link to your original article. We never copy full text, long excerpts or images, and we never frame your pages.
YouTube channel owners
Our Video section embeds videos with YouTube's official player — we never download, copy or re-host them — and only when the owner has allowed embedding on YouTube. Each video is credited to and linked to its channel, with a short description we wrote ourselves. If you would prefer that we not feature a video or your whole channel, email Robert@OwnUtah.com with the video or channel link and we will remove it and stop featuring the channel. You can also turn off embedding for any video in YouTube Studio, and our systems will drop it automatically.
Formal copyright notices can also be sent under our DMCA policy.
