DMCA & Copyright Policy
Effective October 28, 2026
MLS Daily News respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We publish only short, original summaries of news reports, the original headline, the publisher's name and date, and a link to the original article. We do not republish full articles, long excerpts or publisher images. If you believe any material on this site infringes your copyright, we will respond promptly under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Fastest option for publishers: if you simply want your content removed, you do not need to send a formal DMCA notice. Email Robert@OwnUtah.com and we will remove it — see our Publisher Opt-Out policy.
1. Designated agent
Send notices of claimed infringement to our designated agent:
Designated Copyright AgentRobert Bolar, MLS Daily News
558 S 170 W, Ivins, Utah 84738
Phone: 801-737-3333
Email: Robert@OwnUtah.com
2. Filing a notice of claimed infringement
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must be in writing and include substantially the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it — for example, the full URL of each page on MLS Daily News.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Upon receiving a notice that substantially complies with these requirements, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the identified material, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify the person who supplied it, if any. Our practice is to act within one business day.
3. Counter-notification
If material you supplied was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which MLS Daily News may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person's agent.
On receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the person who sent the original notice. We may restore the material in not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice unless the complaining party notifies us that it has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the activity. Because we honor publisher removal requests regardless of legal merit, we may in our discretion choose not to restore content.
4. Repeat infringers
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to terminate the accounts or access of, and stop accepting submissions from, any user or contributor who is a repeat infringer. Sources that are the subject of a removal or opt-out request are permanently blocked from our automated systems.
5. Good faith and misrepresentation
We act in good faith on every notice we receive. Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, consider contacting an attorney first.
