Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information MLS Daily News (operated by Robert Bolar) collects and how it is used.

Newsletter sign-up

If you sign up for our newsletter we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. We also record the page you signed up from, the date and time, your approximate country (derived from your IP address by our hosting provider) and your browser's user-agent string, to help prevent abuse. We use this information only to send you MLS Daily News emails and to manage your subscription. When you sign up, the operator receives an email notification containing your name and email address.

Every newsletter email will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also unsubscribe, or ask us to access or delete your information, at any time by emailing Robert@OwnUtah.com.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for third parties' advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and send email (for example, our hosting provider Cloudflare), or when required by law.

Cookies and analytics

The Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not use ad networks. To count visits and measure page speed, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare describes as privacy-first: it does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors. It records information such as the page viewed, the referring site, browser and device type, country, and page-load timings, and we see it only in aggregate. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the Site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. We will update this policy before adding any other analytics.

Embedded YouTube videos

Our Video pages show YouTube videos using YouTube's official embedded player in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Until you click play, the only thing loaded from Google is the video's preview image, which is served from Google's i.ytimg.com image server; as with any image request, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information. When you click play, the YouTube player loads from Google, and Google's own terms and privacy policy apply to that viewing, including any cookies or similar technologies Google uses. We do not receive any information about what you watch. Choosing "Watch on YouTube" takes you to YouTube.com, where YouTube's terms and policies apply.

Links to other sites

When you follow a link to a publisher's article, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Data retention and security

We keep newsletter information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

The Site is intended for adults in the real estate industry and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
